Our warehouse teams are growing rapidly, and we are now on the lookout for an experienced manager to support and lead our stock control team. Based in our Middleton Distribution Centre, you’ll be responsible for the control of all stock movements from receipt right through to dispatch! You’ll be playing a key part in supporting the operational team and helping them to maximise productivity and accuracy.
Day to Day
Managing. You’ll be managing your team to deliver business objectives. You’ll be responsible for team appraisals and development as well as assisting in the identification of training needs for the wider team to improve efficiency.
Planning & Monitoring. You’ll be in charge of producing a schedule for all stock checks as well as monitoring stock accuracy. Monitoring our accuracy is essential in this role and so you’ll be preparing statistics to reflect site performance as well as picker damage and error rates.
Collaborating. This role will involve communicating with other departments within the business as well as external stakeholders and suppliers. You’ll also be working closely with the DC team on any stock that is promotional or of high usage to ensure the relocation takes place and all system information is correct and up to date.
