What you'll do
As an experienced Senior PPC Manager you’ll own the significant 7-figure paid media budget (paid search, shopping, display) supporting business goals to set and drive KPIs for continuous performance optimisation. As one of Europe’s fastest growing retailers that has experienced unprecedented channel shift online this is a unique opportunity for a seasoned Senior PPC Manager to seek to understand the landscape, challenge what we do, why we do it, build the strategy (do we continue managing external agencies and/or build an internal team) and then embark on the journey; receiving the freedom and support to do so at pace in line with continued business growth and as part of a wider digital transformation.

Day-to-day

Strategising. A role of two halves; firstly identifying the best course of action (to in-house or not to in-house) and then to embark on that journey effectively leading the strategy development, planning and delivery of all PPC campaign activity to define and drive KPI's. Tactically working with agencies and the internal team to get under the hood of our Google and Bing ads and challenge everything from our account structure to our campaign performance.

Managing. Whether it be supplier relationships, display activity, PPC campaigns, tactical trading opportunities or paid monthly budget deployment, you’ll manage risks and make recommendations for opportunities.

Collaborating. Both internally and externally. Working closely with other internal departments to develop fully integrated search campaigns and optimise data feed outputs and the commercial teams to plan and deliver marketing support. As well as collaborating with external suppliers including but not limited to marketing agency partners and Google.

What you'll bring
Experience. You’ve got impressive paid search campaign management experience ( preferably client side) and are experienced in planning and managing 7-figure paid search budgets within fast paced retail businesses. When it comes to KPI goals like CPA, ROAS & LTV you’re always exceeding your goals. You’ll bring an in-depth understanding of PPC optimisation techniques, including knowledge of key metrics and a thorough understanding of bid management tools, including Search Ads 360, Kenshoo or Marin. You’ve also got high-level hands on knowledge of Google and Bing Paid Search, Shopping and Local Inventory Ads along with other key biddable media platforms.

Strategic Thinking and Awareness. You understand, contribute to and execute strategic plans by delegating and guiding others if necessary. You can explain plans fully and recognise viable creative ideas of others and bring them to the table and to those in a position to implement them.

Business Awareness. You fully understand business priorities and align your direction to match. You use company knowledge and external market data to identify opportunities for commercial success

Communication. You communicate clearly, articulately and with conviction when speaking with an individual or before a group. Adapting content and style to your audience

Relationship Building. You proactively identify and deliberately develop strategically important relationships. You ensure you communicate organisational vision and understand strategic priorities.

Analytical. You’re metrics-driven with a hands-on approach to analysing and interpreting data to drive performance benefits. You have the ability to analyse the integrity of data and love to get into the detail.

Drive and Passion. You love what you do, pursue everything with energy, strive for self-development and motivate yourself to achieve goals; driving those around you to succeed in their role.

Yourself. Bring your whole self to work and let your true personality shine through.
