What you'll do

This is a remotely based role with the requirement to come to Bridgwater a number of times a month.

Optimising revenue through toolstation.com for specified top performing product categories; driving sales growth and analysing performance. Driven by analysis of ecommerce metrics and an understanding of the category plans & strategies, you’ll plan & execute effective ecommerce merchandising campaigns across the website; delivering revenue growth in line with our strong ambitions!

Day-to-Day
 
Responsibility. Planning the merchandising campaigns for relevant categories working with the marketing and buying team to ensure they align with trading plans and objectives
 
Analysis. Maximise product positioning and availability by looking at the sales data. Using Sale and web metrics to enhance products and categories
 
Collaborative. Providing insights to the relevant teams by highlighting trends, top sellers and performance on our products
 
Planning. Making sure all content updates for your categories are on time to allow for the catalogue launch and during the catalogue cycle
 
Informative. Use insights to ensure effective product placement and call to actions
 
What you'll bring
Experience. 2-3 years online merchandising experience from an eCommerce setting or strong merchandising skills with exposure to online trading
 
Analytical.  You love data; analysing, interpreting and problem solving is something you have interest in.

Technical. Proven experience using Google Analytics, Core Metrics, Fredhopper to identify trends and take appropriate actions whilst confidently managing spreadsheets and using this to handle data, confident using various formulae and techniques
 
CommercialStrong awareness and understanding of how Ecommerce Merchandising impacts online turnover
