What you'll do

Deliver the Digital Strategy for Toolstation - driving sales and customer acquisition via our digital channels. Supporting the growth strategy of our business, you’ll lead and develop the digital team to ensure we deliver. Through prior experience, data driven analysis, stakeholder requirements and customer insight you’ll identifying opportunities to use digital to meet customers’ expectations, delivering agreed solutions on time & in full.

Day to Day

Ownership. Delivery of all performance metrics via the Digital Channels. Optimising our ecommerce platforms to maximize the business objectives.

Team. Building a robust team to identify and plan your resource, ensuring performance and capability are managed effectively. Making sure you are motivating them to drive performance and achieve a high quality of work. Building strong working relationships with the wider team to deliver the success.

Strategic. Planning the Digital agenda throughout the business, attending leadership forums making sure the performance and development initiatives are communicated and you have the buy-in and engagement.

Planning. Using your previous experience, you will build on existing plans whilst creating new ones to propose to the board, including the development of an APP

What you'll bring

Commerciality. You’ve worked in a commercial business and understand the business priorities, aligning the direction to match. You always identify opportunities to succeed.

Knowledge. Proven experience of working at a strategic leadership level within the Digital Marketing space, coming from a Retail business will put you in good stead.

Transformation. You’d have supported a business going though huge change and transformation. You’re comfortable with organisational design to build the future.

Motivation. You’ll be used to creating a great working environment, ensuring your team are engaged and constantly striving to achieve results in line with the bigger strategy. You’re always one step ahead, waiting for potential obstacles and have a plan to hand.
