What you'll do

Driving sales; you’ll shape this newly created role though building relationships, identifying opportunities for growth and making commercially sensible credit decisions. You’ll be key to ensuring our trade credit proposition grows whilst keeping the cash coming in.

Day-to-day

Implementing. Whether it’s agreeing credit account terms and conditions or creating a credit strategy, it’ll be up to you to shape our trade credit proposition.

Identifying. We’ve got a massive opportunity for growth in this area and it’ll be up to you to identify where best focus our efforts. You’ll be building relationships with customers, opening new accounts, reviewing applications and making recommendations on credit limits.

Resolving. Creating customer relationships will be key to ensure we mitigate risk and enable you to resolve potential issues to ensure a steady payment stream from customers. You’ll be the go-to person both internally and externally with any outstanding invoice queries.

What you'll bring

Knowledge. You’ve worked in a Credit Control environment before and your level of experience will enable you to effectively prioritise what needs to be done when as you create and develop this proposition.

Relationship Building. You’re aware of your own natural style and know how best to use it when building effective relationships. You easily build trust which results in a well-developed network of contacts.

Focus. You’ve got outstanding attention to detail which gives you the ability to easily reconcile complex accounts. You approach your work in an accurate, efficient and organised way.

Hard work and passion. You love what you do. You’re always looking for new creative ways to solve problems and question the conventional, taking ownership and getting the job done.
